The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has released today’s (13) currency exchange rates.
Accordingly, the purchase value of one US dollar was reported as 301 rupees 76 percent and the selling value as 311 rupees 00 percent.
The buying price of a pound of sraling was recorded at Rs 384 71 per cent and the selling price at Rs 399 50 per cent.
Canadian dollar
The purchase value of one euro was reported at 328 rupees 35 percent and the selling price at 341 rupees 56 percent.
The purchase price of one Canadian dollar was reported at 222 rupees 17 percent and the selling price was 232 rupees 11 percent.
The purchase price of one Australian dollar was reported at 197 rupees 54 percent and the selling price was 207 rupees 81 percent.
The purchase price of one Singapore dollar was reported at 225 rupees 11 percent and the selling price was 235 rupees 21 percent.
Today’s Situation in Banks
Similarly, the commercial banks in Sri Lanka have published the buying and selling values of the dollar.
Accordingly, in Makkal Bank, the buying value of the US dollar remained unchanged at 300.82 rupees and the selling price remained unchanged at 311.30 rupees.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar decreased to Rs 300.41 from Rs 300.48 and the selling rate decreased to Rs 309.75 from Rs 310.25.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remained unchanged from Rs 302 to Rs 301.50 and from Rs 311 to Rs 310.50 respectively.
