When exchanging with other managers and workers in the sugar sector, he drew attention to the importance of prioritizing the planting of cane, particularly the seed that guarantees increasing the extent of crops, especially in irrigated areas that are currently recovering. “The few resources we obtain must be dedicated to that activity, in addition to production. If we have cane, there will be a central, otherwise, the central will have no future.”

Likewise, he was interested in the preparation of agricultural machinery, and the automotive and railway fleet for the transfer of grass from the fields to the mill.

During the debate, which was also attended by the main political and government authorities of San Cristóbal, the Vice President considered that the harvest should be a matter not only of the Azcuba Group, but of maximum interest in the localities, where full support should be provided. possible.
