CEO of Hashomer Yosh: The High Court is trying to legalize a Palestinian state

Avihai Suisa, CEO of Hashomer Yosh, harshly criticizes the displacement of the Kerem Ben Eliyahu vineyard in Shiloh.

“Once again we encounter the urge of the High Court to expropriate the lands of Jewish farmers and destroy only on the part of the doubt that they ever belonged to the Arabs. Where were they 20 years ago when Hanan ben Eliyahu planted his orchards? The High Court is trying to legalize a Palestinian state here at the expense of declared state lands,” Suissa claimed in an interview with Channel 7.

According to him, “We are aware of the consistent trend of the Civil Administration, which over the past seven years has expropriated hundreds of dunams of state land in the Shiloh area. These are agricultural lands belonging to Jews who are being robbed from them time and time again under the auspices of the administration and with the approval of the High Court of Justice.”

“We call on the government to implement its policy and strengthen its grip on the West Bank, the Negev and the Galilee through Jewish agriculture,” he concluded.
