According to initial reconstructions, Diamante was in the garden of his seaside house in Castel Volturno when, perhaps to cool off, he approached a fountain and, touching the tap, was electrocuted. The 36-year-old was immediately rescued and transported by his family to the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno. Unfortunately, howeverwhen he arrived at the Emergency Room, he was already lifeless. The paramedics could do nothing but confirm his death. The Carabinieri of the Castel Volturno branch intervened in the clinic, who collected the first testimonies and started the necessary checks, coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office. The Fire Brigade went to the house to secure the fountain. The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Caserta Hospital.
