Cerro Maggiore, the multiplex of Uci Cinema transformed into a vaccination center

A cinema transformed into vaccination center: happens to the Movie-in of Cerro Maggiore, in the province of Milan. The idea had already been announced at the end of January by Uci Cinema, but now it will become reality.

Vaccinations will be performed on the ticket office floor

In a press release, Uci Cinema – which has six facilities in Milan – had explained how its cinemas had suitable spaces to carry out vaccinations: the rooms would be spacious and airy, well connected to public transport and equipped with parking areas. The company had expressed its willingness to make adjustments for any necessary changes to vaccinations. The territorial social health company Milano Ovest has therefore announced that the hub will be built on the ticket office floor of the cinema, which is located a few meters from the Legnano exit of the A8 Milan-Varese motorway, and where parking spaces will be available of the shopping center parking lot.

The inauguration scheduled for Monday 15 March

The center will be inaugurated on the morning of Monday 15 March at 9 am and the president of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana will also be present. In the morning today, the mayor of Cerro Maggiore Giuseppina Berra, through a press release, made it known that the last inspection was carried out by the health authorities. A necessary and above all decisive visit for the start of the activity. Cerro will not be the only extra-hospital center in the Region, in fact, others could soon be added.
