Actor Cezary Żak has received the Gold Medal Merit to Culture Gloria Artis
for cultural achievement following his 40th wedding anniversary in 2025, while his wife, Katarzyna Żak, celebrated her 63rd birthday in October 2026.

Katarzyna Żak told Pomponik. The couple, who met at an equestrian camp in 1983 and married two years later, recently marked their 40th wedding anniversary in 2025 amid a wave of public congratulations.

Katarzyna Żak shared the announcement on Instagram on a Thursday afternoon that her husband had been awarded the Gold Medal Merit to Culture Gloria Artis

I am enormously proud and moved, because I know how much work, heart, and perseverance he put in to be in this place today. I know this path firsthand and I know how much stands behind it. I also thank the wonderful audience that has accompanied him for years, supports him, and accepts what he does with such kindness. Honey, big congratulations!” Katarzyna Żak told Pomponik.
Industry peers Magda Mołek and Małgorzata Pieczyńska joined the public support for the actor with short notes of praise.

Cezary Żak is preparing for new television work. Public broadcaster TVP has officially announced that the new season titled Ranczo. Zemsta wiedźm will premiere on December 6.
