Palestinian President Mohammad Abbas’s condolence of the massacres carried out by Israel in his region by the word ‘Holocaust’, which refers to the Nazis’ killing of Jews during World War II, has caused great doubt.
He was asked, who visited Germany on Tuesday, ‘Will you apologize for the killing of Israeli soldiers by Palestinian terrorists during the last 1972 Munich Olympics?’ asked the reporters. Abbas denied it and mentioned that Israel has conducted 50 ‘Holocausts’ since 1947.
Abbas’s comment caused a great stir, as he felt that no other event should be compared to the horrific massacre of 6 million European Jews by Nazi Germany.
