(Owais Kayani) Chairman of Arab Monetary Fund Dr. Fahad Al-Turki met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

Talking on this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Arab countries have a long-standing brotherly relationship which is getting stronger with time. Digitization of the e-commerce sector and economy is our top priority, the Prime Minister said that there are a large number of Pakistanis living in the Gulf countries who send a large amount of foreign exchange to Pakistan. The connectivity is very welcome, the Bonarast connectivity project will play an important role in making digital transactions more efficient in the country, this important initiative will streamline the flow of remittances in the country and improve the digital governance system. Thanks to Bona-Rast, this foreign exchange will be able to be sent to Pakistan in an easy and cheap way, Bona-Rast is a reflection of our common vision.

Dr. Fahad, Chairperson Arab Monetary Fund said that Pakistan is the first country outside the Arab world to be associated with Bona, the project of Arab Monetary Fund, thanks to Bona-Rast, the economy of both sides will develop with mutual cooperation and trust.
