This is what a recent study on urban congestion reveals, conducted by TomTom, a company specializing in route planning software.

That’s an increase of 2 hours and 30 minutes compared to 2024.

Reims ranks 24th nationally for traffic congestion.

The study also pinpointed Tuesday, September 23, 2025, as the single worst day for travel.

The average distance traveled by drivers in Reims in 15 minutes was 8.2 km, a slight decrease of 0.2 km compared to 2024.

The average travel time for a 10 km trip was 18 minutes and 18 seconds, 23 seconds longer than in 2024.

Average speed during peak hours was 28.5 km/h, 1 km/h slower than in 2024.

Average speed on motorways was 87.6 km/h, 0.9 km/h slower than in 2024.
