The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast light showers in southern Tamil Nadu and Delta districts.

According to a report released by the Chennai Meteorological Center: –
Light to moderate showers with thundershowers will occur at one or two places in southern Tamil Nadu, Western Ghats and adjoining districts, delta districts and Karaikal areas today and tomorrow due to the prevailing atmospheric circulation and warming over the interior of Tamil Nadu.
The next day (06.04.2022) there will be light to moderate rain with thundershowers at one or two places in the Western Ghats, Delta districts, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli districts and Karaikal areas.
For Chennai, the sky will be partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. The maximum temperature will be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 27 degrees Celsius.
