jpnn.com – Persis Solo admitted that they will appear without any burden when facing Persib Bandung in the final match of Group A of the 2024 President’s Cup.
The team nicknamed Laskar Sambernyawa realized their chances of qualifying for the semifinals were very small. Even so, Persis promised to give their best game in the league later.
The Persis vs Persib match was held at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 19.30 WIB.
This is the final match of Group A. Persis currently sits in third place in the standings, with one loss and one draw.
Persis coach Milomir Seslija said that in this pre-season tournament, his team has performed optimally. However, the final result has not met expectations because many players have to adapt to the team.
“We have all tried the opposite, there are many new faces in our team, they need to adapt and we in the team are developing as a team, not individually, we are still integrating one team,” said Milo, his nickname, in a press conference at Graha Persib, Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City, Wednesday (24/7/2024).
Furthermore, Milo said that Persib is a solid team because it maintains old faces.
That makes the team’s compactness not much different from last season. Milo even admitted that Persib’s strength has increased with the arrival of new players.
