PAN Card-Aadhaar Card Linkage
Linking PAN card with Aadhaar card is mandatory by 31st March 2023. After this, from April 1, 2023, if Aadhaar card and PAN card are not linked, PAN card will become inactive. Deactivation of PAN card will make it difficult for people to file income tax and will result in higher taxes. Sale of gold jewelry
The Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said that from April 1, gold jewelery cannot be sold without a hallmark unique identification number. Keeping in mind the interests of consumers, after March 31, 2023, sale of gold jewelery and gold artefacts without HUID hallmark will not be allowed, the government said.
