Train services on the Beer Sheva/Lahavim Rahat-TA Svidor Center/Nahariya line and the Ashkelon-Benyamina and Beit Shemesh-Netanya lines will be affected on the night of October 20-21, 2023, due to infrastructure works taking place at the Lod station. Israel Railways has announced that the maintenance and replacement of track components will be carried out as part of their annual maintenance program.

On Friday, October 20, trains on the Beer Sheva/Lahavim Rahat-TA Svidor Center/Nahariya line will be operated in a split format. These trains will only run between the Beer Sheva North Ha’un and Lod stations, and between the Haifa Hof HaCarmel and Nahariya stations. They will not stop at the Tel Aviv stations, Herzliya, Binyamina, or Atlit. The following day, October 21, the trains will only operate between Lehavim Rahat and Lod stations, without stopping at the Tel Aviv stations.

Trains on the Ashkelon-Benyamina line will also be affected, running in a split format between Ashkelon and Lod stations, and between Tel Hagana and Benymina stations. These trains will not stop at Lod and Kfar Chabad stations. Similarly, trains on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will operate in a split format between Beit Shemesh and Lod stations, and between Tel Hagana and Netanya stations. They will not stop at Lod Gani Aviv station.

In order to ensure a smooth transportation experience for passengers during this period, Israel Railways will provide a system of free shuttles between Lod and Tel Aviv Haganah stations, as well as Tel Aviv Svidor Center.

Normal train services are expected to resume on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Israel Railways advises passengers to stay updated with the details on their website, app, or call center.
