by time news

Chappell Roan was one of the stars of the MTV Video Music Awards 2024 ceremony, which took place in the early hours from Wednesday to Thursday, September 11 to 12.

On the stage of the UBS Arena in New York, after setting a castle on fire and surrounded by knights, the artist performed the hit “Good Luck, Babe!”. The performance was applauded by the audience and was one of the most praised on social media.

Without surprises, the singer also won the Moon Person for Best New Artist. The competition was tough – Benson Boone, Gracie Abrams, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, and Tyla – but the popularity of the voice of “Good Luck, Babe!” prevailed.

“I dedicate this to all the drag artists who inspire me and to the queer and trans people who fuel pop,” said the American in her speech, reading from her diary.
