Charge sheet submitted against Lawrence Bishnoi and gang for shooting at Salman Khan’s residence

(24 News) An important development has come out in the case of shooting at the house of Bollywood Dabangg star Salman Khan, the Mumbai Crime Branch has submitted a 1700-page charge sheet against Lawrence Bishnoi and the gang members.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has today filed a charge sheet against notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and six members of his gang in connection with the April 14 shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, India. According to the officers, they have submitted a 1700-page charge sheet against 6 persons, including Sagar Pal, Vicky Gupta, Sonu Kumar Bishnoi, Harpal Singh alias Harry, Muhammad Rafiq Chaudhary and Anuj Thapan, against the accused. A chargesheet was filed under the provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act, Thapan allegedly committed suicide in the Crime Branch Jail. Statements of dozens of witnesses have also been recorded in the case.

According to a Mumbai Crime Branch official, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol Bishnoi and key gang member Rohit Godhra have been named as ‘wanted accused’ in the case.

Police have also recorded the statements of actor Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz on June 4 to confirm the sequence of events and their statements have been included in the charge sheet.

It should be noted that on the morning of April 14, 4 shots were fired outside the actor’s residence in Bandra. Later, Mumbai Crime Branch arrested 6 people from different states. It was said that actor Salman Khan has been threatened in the past.

It should be noted that the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in jail while his younger brother Anmol is rumored to be hiding in Canada, on the other hand, Lawrence Bishnoi claims that he was targeting Salman Khan because the actor in his 1998 film ‘ During the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, a Bishnoi community in Rajasthan hunted a blackbuck.
