The charging service provider EV-Edge, which operates over 4,000 charging points in Israel, recently installed 5 new charging points in the IKEA store in Netanya, which include a DC fast charging point and another 4 standard AC charging points, two of which are accessible and adapted for people with disabilities. These charging points join the 12 that exist in IKEA stores in Rishon Lezion, Ashtaul and Beer Sheva.

The EV-Edge company recently launched a campaign in which they asked community members to tell and share about their charging experience and to take pictures against the charging stations. The activity was a great success and as part of it, valuable prizes were awarded to the first three places and a variety of benefits to the other participants, with the first place winner being free charging for a whole year – Eitan Biran, the second place – Haim and Bat Sheva Gross winning a cable with a grandmother, and the third place – Tomer Yeft winning free charging for six months.

At the launch of the charging points in Netanya came the company’s executives who presented the prizes to the winners of the digital activity. “We are happy and grateful for the trust of the customers who benefit and have a positive experience during the charging of the vehicle at our stations and are happy to share it with the growing community of electric drivers” he said Shraga Katz CEO of the company EV-Edge. “The charging experience becomes part of the routine in the transition to electric transportation when our goal is to continue to expand the deployment of our public charging network which is the largest and leading in Israel and at the same time to continue to improve the quality and availability of customer service so that electric vehicle drivers can charge their vehicles in an accessible, convenient and peace of mind manner and download the range anxiety.”
