A few hours before the opening of Maison Gainsbourg, at 5 bis rue de Verneuil in Paris, Charlotte Gainsbourg was present in the Libération premises. She came this Monday, September 18, with her own photos: a Gitanes and Zippo duo, a portrait of Serge and Jane on the keys of a piano, perfume bottles with a very particular meaning, a puppet or an armchair in which we don’t really sit down… Charlotte Gainsbourg offered us her photos, unpublished and secret, as was the interior of her childhood house for a long time. By revealing these photographs full of details to the public and taking care to comment on them for the readers of Libé, Charlotte Gainsbourg is giving us a new invitation to enter the privacy of her father’s house.
In the recording at the top of the article, you will hear him commenting on these images. Like a foretaste of the audio tour of the house into which we enter through our memories and our vision thanks to a sound tour.
