Recovered from injuries to his pubis and right adductor that kept him out of games in 2023, right-back Igor Vinícius is ready to face next season.
In a chat at SPFC Play, the number 2 spoke about the recovery period and planned to compete in competitions next year.
“Fortunately I managed to end 2023 with the group, being able to train with my teammates on the field. I always remained optimistic about recovery and had the support of the club”, said the number 2, who completed.
“I want to get back to playing and regain my rhythm to help the team. And I make a point of thanking the fans, who sent several messages of encouragement during this period of recovery”, said the winger, who played two matches for Tricolor before suffering the injuries.
Hired in 2019, Igor Vinícius will play his sixth season for São Paulo. So far, the full-back has played 154 games, seven goals and 19 assists for the São Paulo team.
