Châteauroux-PSG: Bitshiabu, Zaire-Emery and Gharbi holders, Galtier’s youthful boost

by time news

Bring on the youth! In the absence of his stars (Messi, Mbappé, Neymar), Christophe Galtier has decided to establish three Parisian titis for the 32nd final of the Coupe de France of PSG against Châteauroux this Friday evening (9 p.m.).

Two know their first tenure in the jersey of PSG: Warren Zaire-Emery, who will start in the Parisian eleven at only 16 years old, and Ismaël Gharbi, aligned in a playmaker role. In defense, El Chadaille Bitshiabu knows his second tenure in the space of ten days after having already been aligned against Strasbourg. He will play alongside captain Marquinhos in the center of central defense.

For the rest, few surprises, Christophe Galtier has as expected established for the first time this season Keylor Navas in the Parisian goal. Nordi Mukiele and Juan Bernat will take care of the animation of the corridors in defense. Carlos Soler and Vitinha will support Zaire-Emery in Marco Verratti’s private Parisian midfield. Finally, in attack, Hugo Ekitike has a third consecutive tenure. The Spaniard Pablo Sarabia will accompany him.

On the Châteauroux side, Nolan Roux is the holder in attack. In an interview with Le Parisien, the former Guingamp player assured that he had no certainty of starting the match. He explained, however, that Christophe Galtier, his former coach in Saint-Etienne, was not going to take this match lightly.

PSG’s starting eleven: Navas – Mukiele, Marquinhos (cap.), Bitshiabu, Bernat – Soler, Zaire-Emery, Vitinha – Gharbi – Sarabia, Ekitike.
