Châtillon: after the shots, a climate of concern and an investigation for attempted murder

It is a transition point between the shopping street of Châtillon (Hauts-de-Seine) and the residential area which is usually teeming with people, especially outside the school holidays. There, near the kiosk of the T6 Centre-de-Châtillon tram stop, an armed man in a car targeted a group on Monday around 9.30pm.

Two young people aged 17 and 18, residents of Châtillon and Malakoff, were initially found on site, injured in the legs, one seriously injured in a tibia and the other more lightly injured in an ankle. According to a source close to the case, a third teenager, aged 17 and living in Paris, was hospitalized with a gunshot wound under the shoulder after fleeing.
