Tirupur: Yesterday, ‘9G’ government bus (TN, 39N 0092) was coming from Puliambatti to Tirupur via Thalakarai, Saveur, Avinasi. There were 27 passengers in the bus. On the Avinasi – Tirupur road, after passing the Water Pandal Colony bus stop, it felt as if the bus was going slightly to one side. Realizing this, the driver resourcefully stopped the bus in front of 15 Velampalayam zonal office. The passengers were safely dropped from the bus. When the driver and conductor got down and looked, it was found that the rear tire of the bus had exploded. The driver stopped the bus and the accident was avoided; Passengers were relieved. Passengers were sent to another bus which came towards Tirupur that way.
