The French company says it is ready to take over half of the Bristol brand’s branches. A decision should be made in early September.

Chaussea is the French shoe store chain candidate for the takeover of 62 of the 115 branches of the Bristol brandsaid Elise Vanaudenhove, CEO of the Belgian company, on Saturday in an interview with Het Belang van Limburg. There are some of theother candidates takeovers, but each focuses on only a small number of stores.

Chaussea currently has 500 stores in Europe, mainly in France, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Belgium, where the chain has around twenty. We still don’t know where the various branches of Bristol are that the French brand aims to take over.. Chaussea should also take on eight of the 170 workers employed at the company’s Belgian headquarters.

In addition to the French chain, there are also several other candidates to take over a limited number of stores. Torfs, for example, would like to get one or two. In total, 72 stores out of 115 would have a buyer.

However, these recoveries have not yet been recorded. The green light has not yet been given by the company court. This decision should be made on 6 September.
