As is well known, the newly announced flights to Sharm el-Sheikh will take only 50 minutes to an hour from Ben Gurion Airport, perhaps only slightly longer than a flight to Eilat, but at a double price – a return flight to Eilat in Arkia, at the peak of Passover prices, will cost NIS 744 (!) While as mentioned Sinai will have identical numbers, in dollars.

In any case, all Israelis waiting to land at the port of Sharm el-Sheikh will need the final approval of the Civil Aviation Authority on the inauguration of the route to Sinai.
