by time news

This Thursday (23) expires the bill for payment of the second installment of the Motor Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA) for vehicles with a license plate ending in 9 in the state of São Paulo or the payment of the single quota without discount.

On Friday (24th) is the deadline for vehicles with zero end plates. Drivers should pay attention to salaries to avoid fines.

The IPVA 2023 payment can be made in three ways: in cash with a discount, in a single installment without a discount in February or in installments.

In January, the deadline for payment of the single quota ended with a 3% discount. It is also possible to pay the single quota still in February, but without discount. There are also those who choose to pay in up to five installments, from January to May.

Payment can be made at any bank branch or online. It is also necessary to generate a second slip, that of the GRD, for the Licensing Fee.

To issue the Debt Regularization Guide (GRD), used to settle the IPVA, it is necessary to have the number of the National Registry of Motor Vehicles (Renavam) and the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) or National Legal Entity Registry (CNPJ) of the owner.

Values and maturity

Those who have not paid the first installment of IPVA 2023 can still pay the tribute in a single installment in February without discount, according to the end of the vehicle’s license plate.

Those with amounts from R$ 274.08 to R$ 342.50 can pay the tribute in up to four installments, from January to April.
