Friends of the world of taste, yesterday was an unforgettable evening of a lifetime. The venue was Le Méridien in Kochi where RCP opened its first restaurant in Kerala. My life story book ‘Ruchi Nirvana’ was released by Malayalam world traveler Santosh George Kulangara. Abrid Shine, a noted film director of the young generation, bought the same.
It has all the milestones of my life, from the childhood of the mother who went to collect rope in the country and the father who was a laborer, from the attachment to the world of taste, the ways that each step was followed by the heat of the oven, new ventures.
Popular recipes are also added to the book with QRcode videos. Manorama Books brings to you the life that has come true through hard work and perseverance in the form of a book.
The ceremony was attended by my early colleagues, Rupesh, KK Santhosh and Gangadharan, characters in the book and part of the RCP. Dilip Sir presided over. Manorama Books Editor-in-Charge Thomas Dominik introduced the book. Sudhir Mohan welcomed the audience. Santosh George Kulangara presented RCP’s gift to Russel Shahul who gave literal form to my words.
