Chelsea have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho in the final hours of the summer transfer window, according to a report.
According to the Italian journalist specializing in the transfer market, Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has reached an agreement with the Red Devils to sign the English player on loan, with an option to buy after the end of the current season.
For his part, Sancho accepted Chelsea’s offer, which he wanted to join, after he was on the verge of moving to Juventus in the past hours.
The deal is expected to be officially announced shortly.
Sancho will join the Blues on loan, with the contract including an option to buy at the end of the season for £35 million, according to the British newspaper, Daily Mail.
Sancho had returned to the Red Devils after his loan to Borussia Dortmund ended at the end of last season, but he was again unable to convince Dutch coach Erik ten Hag to rely on him as a starter.
