“Chennai Airport Increases Foreign Currency Exchange Centers to 8 – Facilitating Travelers’ Needs”

CHENNAI: The number of foreign currency exchange centers at Chennai airport has increased to eight.

More than 50 thousand passengers travel through Chennai International Airport every day.

Out of this, more than 10 thousand people travel to foreign countries and from foreign countries to Chennai.

Money exchange centers have been set up at the Chennai airport to facilitate the exchange in Chennai for those going abroad to use the currency of the respective country, and for those coming from Chennai to use Indian currency notes.

According to this, five centers have been set up at the international airport terminal and one center at the domestic terminal for money transfer.

This number is increased to six at the international terminal and two at the domestic terminal.

At present, a total of eight money transfer centers are functioning at the Chennai airport, according to officials.
