Chennai high court orders to take against lawyer who inquires Kallakuruchi student death case: The Chennai High Court has ordered the Bar Council to take action against the lawyers who are separately investigating the death of Kallakuruchi student.
Smt., a student studying at a private school in Kaniyamoor, Kallakurichi district, died mysteriously on July 13. Following this, the parents staged a protest demanding justice for the death of the student. On the other hand, some others ransacked the school premises and torched vehicles.

In this situation, the Chinnasalem police arrested 5 persons namely school principal Ravikumar, secretary Shanti, school headmaster Sivasankaran, chemistry teacher Haripriya and mathematics teacher Keerthika on the complaint lodged by the student Smt.
After this, all 5 of them filed a petition seeking bail. The Madras High Court considered their petition and granted bail to all 5 people. Further, in the judgment, there was no evidence of rape and murder in the death of the student as per the two reports of the Tamil Nadu government medical committees and the JIPMER committee report. So it is clear that the death of the student was neither rape nor murder. The court had commented.
There are reports that the student’s parents are planning to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the opinion of the Chennai High Court.
In this situation, the Madras High Court has ordered the Bar Council to take action against the unprofessional lawyers who are investigating the death of the Kallakurichi student today.
