Munishwarnath Bandari was born on September 13, 1960 in Maharashtra. His B.Com., L.L.P. Munishwarnath graduated and registered as a lawyer in the Rajasthan High Court on May 29, 1983. During his tenure as a lawyer, he has argued in cases such as civil, service, labor, criminal, federal administrative tribunal and constitutional in the Supreme Court. He has also appeared in various cases in the Supreme Court as a Rajasthan State Attorney, Railway Advocate and Atomic Energy Advocate.

Munishwarnath Bandari was appointed Additional Judge of the Rajasthan High Court on July 5, 2007. On November 4, 2008, he was appointed a permanent judge. Munishwarnath, who has served in the Rajasthan High Court for more than 10 years, was transferred to the Allahabad High Court on March 15, 2019. Following the retirement of Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Sanjay Yadav, Munishwarnath served as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court from July 26 to October 10, 2021.

Judge Munishwarnath Bandari’s term ends on September 12, 2022. The President has ordered that Duraisamy will be the Chief Justice of the Chennai High Court until a new judge takes office. Judge Munishwarnath Bandari took charge today. He was administered the oath of office by Governor RN Ravi. The function at Raj Bhavan was attended by Chief Minister Stalin, High Court judges, lawyers and many others.
