There are reports that the first Test between India and Australia will be held in Chennai.
Australia will tour India in February 2023 for a 4-Test Test series. In this case, the information about the test series venues has been released.
It seems likely that the first Test will be held in any of the three cities namely Chennai or Nagapuri and Hyderabad, the 2nd Test in Delhi, the 3rd Test in Dharamsala and the 4th Test in Ahmedabad. One of these four Tests is also likely to be a day-night match. So far three day-night Tests have been played in India.
Last year, two Tests between India and England were held in Chennai. After that the Chennai Chepakkam ground is being renovated. Thus, the fans are eager to see the Test match between India and Australia at the new-look Chepauk Stadium.
India and Australia clash for the last time before the final of the ICC Test Championship. The result of this Test series is expected to be crucial as both the teams have a chance to qualify for the finals.
