In the qualifying round of the Chennai Open International Women’s Tennis Series, all 5 Indian players have failed.
The Chennai Open International Women’s Tennis Tournament will be held from 12th to 18th at the Tennis Stadium, Nungambakkam.
In this case, 5 Indian players including Lakshmi Prabha, Sai Samhita participated in the qualifying round competition.
In this, Tamil Nadu player Sai Samhita was defeated by Japanese player Noa Hibino with the score of 6 to 1 and 6 to 0.
Lakshmi Prabha also lost in the match against Japan’s Naido with the score of 6 to 4, 6 to 1.
Similarly, all have been eliminated in the qualifying round.
However, it is to be noted that the two Indian players Ankita Raina and Karman Thandi have already been selected to play in the main tournament from September 12 to 18 through special permission.
