Chennai: Tamil Nadu M.G. organized “Chennai Sangamam – Namma Uru Festival” with 40 types of arts in Chennai city. Stalin inaugurated on Friday (Jan 13).
In this regard, the Tamil Nadu Government has released a message: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin today (13.1.2023) inaugurated the “Chennai Sangamam – Namma Ooru Festival” organized by the Department of Art and Culture with 40 types of arts in the city of Chennai to celebrate the arts of the Tamil land. He kept and visited art shows.
In Chennai city, Island Thidal, Kolathur – Municipal Sports Ground, Perambur (South) Murasolimaran Mempalap Park, Rayapuram – Robinson Sports Ground, Mylapore – Nagaswararao Park, Semmozhi Park, Nungambakkam – Municipal Boys High School Ground, Sindathirippet – Municipal Sports Ground, T.Nagar Municipal Ground Opposite Natesan Park, Besant Nagar – Elliotts Beach, Thiruvanmiyur Beach, Saitappettai – Corporation Boys High School Ground, K.K. Nagar – Sivan Park, Valasaravakkam – Ramakrishna Nagar Sports Ground, Anna Nagar – Gopuram Park, Koyambedu – Jaynagar Park, Ampathur – S.V. Chennai Sangamam – Namma Uru festival will be held from Jan.14 to Jan.17 from 6 pm to 9 pm at 18 venues at Sports Ground, Egmore – Government Museum.
Chennai Sangamam – Namma Ooru festival will feature 40 different arts including Naiyandi Melam, Karakatam, Paraiyatam, Puraviyattam, Kavadiyattam, Puliyattam, Todar dance, Mayilatam, Silambatam, Villupattam, folk songs.
