The youth was arrested in Bokso for kidnapping and sexually abusing a college student in Chengdu.
The couple’s 17 – year – old daughter, who lives in Padiyanallur, next to Chennai, is studying for her first year of B.Com at a private college in Ponneri. In this case, the student who went to college on the 12th did not return home. Following this the parents have been looking for him in various places. But no information is available about him.
The parents lodged a complaint at the Chenkunram police station. Police have filed a case and are investigating. It was then revealed that Santosh (18), an electrician student from Nehru Street, Montiamman Nagar, Chenkunram, had been abducted. Following this, the police set up a team to rescue the student and conduct an investigation.
In this, Santosh has taken a college student to Andhra Pradesh out of desire for marriage. It was later revealed that Santosh had sexually abused the student while he was staying at a friend’s house there. Following this, the Chenkunram police transferred the case to the Ambattur All Women’s Police Station and ordered an inquiry.
Following this, the police, led by Inspector Jothiletsumi, prosecuted Santosh under the Pokcho Act and arrested Santosh, who was in hiding.
