Officials from the Geumcheon-myeon office in Cheongdo-gun held their own discussion session for the growth of the town. Cheongdo-gun (Governor Kim Ha-su) Geumcheon-myeon announced that it held a discussion meeting on the 6th in the conference room on the second floor of the township office with 20 employees in attendance too self-evaluate Geumcheon-myeon’s work and seek development directions.
This discussion was held to review Geumcheon-myeon’s work over the past year and to specify the future direction of the township by analyzing what went well and what needs betterment.
Employees evaluated the performance of their own work and the entire governance of Geumcheon-myeon,and shared various ideas for resident welfare and regional development. In particular, meaningful time was held to discuss shortcomings in administrative procedures and areas for improvement in order to increase resident satisfaction.
At the discussion, various ideas and development directions were proposed, such as ▲selection of the 9 scenic tourist attractions in Geumcheon ▲unification of welfare cards and various allowances ▲maintenance of repainting of road lanes within the district.

Meanwhile, Cheongdo-gun held the 4th Invitation Festival for Prospective Farmers and Returners to the Village on the 7th at the Cheongdo National Sports Center Indoor Gymnasium, inviting city residents and those who have returned to rural areas.
On this day, the festival was hosted by the Cheongdo-gun Return to Rural Village Thorough Support Center (Center Director Jeong Im-ki) and was divided into three parts, including commendation for excellent members and performance sharing, and an experience booth was also operated to invigorate the rural community.
In Part 1,a weekend farm closing ceremony held this year and a performance sharing session for village comprehensive care projects for returning farmers were held,providing meaningful time to share how Cheongdo-gun’s returning farmers are successfully settling into the local community.
In Part 2, we will watch a video of the activities of the Cheongdo-gun Return-to-Rural and Village Association’s activities for the return-to-farm and village attraction support project carried out throughout the year, and take time to look back on the achievements so far. Lastly, at the Harmony Festival event, the atmosphere became even more heated with tastings of home-made wine and makgeolli, a talent show, and prize drawings.
In particular, farmers in Cheongdo-gun and members of the return to Rural Villages Association operated various experience booths and distributed Cheongdo rice and calendars to all who participated in the event, making it a fun and meaningful time.
