Cheongsong Cultural Tourism Foundation [MEDIA ART : 헤어짐의 단상, 그리고 새로운 만남 展]The Cheongsong Cultural Tourism Foundation (Chairman Kyung-hee Yoon) will hold a special exhibition of two media art works provided by the National Asia Culture Center Foundation (ACCF) at the Namgwan Media Art Hall (2nd floor of Namgwan Living Culture Center, 14 Bunam-ro, Bunam-myeon, Cheongsong-gun) to promote cultural enjoyment among the residents and provide something to see for visitors.
The foundation was selected for the “2024 National Asia Culture Center Foundation Joint Collaborative Exhibition Competition” in February and will hold the exhibition from July 16 (Tuesday) to September 1 (Sunday). [헤어짐의 단상, 그리고 새로운 만남] Circle (Jeon Min-su) writer’s work on the topic <이별만상–여러 가지 안녕>And writer Jang Jong-wan <내가 돌아온 날 그는 떠났다> Two works are presented.
Author Jeon Min-su’s <이별만상–여러 가지 안녕>Just as new encounters come in many forms, partings also come in many different forms and stories, and each person meets and partes due to various fates and coincidences. The work provides a mystical experience with gorgeous graphics such as 4-channel video and 3D graphics.
Author Jang Jong-wan’s <내가 돌아온 날 그는 떠났다>It is a story about a bear that gave everything to people and became a myth. It is a work that comically twists the tragic situation of animals and plants sacrificed for human immortality, gourmet food, and show through a surreal allegorical video, and attempts to overlap it with the anxiety we face today.
Admission is free for all residents and visitors, and the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Mondays and public holidays.
Yoon Kyung-hee, Chairman of the Cheongsong Cultural Tourism Foundation and County Governor of Cheongsong, said, “Through this special exhibition held at the Namgwan Media Art Hall, we will increase the accessibility of culture and arts to the county residents and provide quality cultural services,” adding, “I hope that visitors to Cheongsong during the summer vacation will also have a time of relaxation and healing.”
