For her first performance, Cher debuted “DJ Play a Christmas Song” from her newly released 2023 holiday album, Christmas. Later in the show, she returned to perform a spirited cover of Chuck Berry’s “Run Rudolph Run,” also featured on the album.

The Christmas album represents Cher’s twenty-seventh studio album and is particularly significant as her first project featuring original material in a decade, following 2013’s Closer to the Truth. The LP is a blend of new tracks and beloved holiday classics.
