The office of the GOHA International Dalaba section and that of the local branch of the action to unite Guineans (APUG) were installed this Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the presence of Chérif Mohamed Abdallah Haidara, president of these two organizations.
Coming from Labé, Chérif Mohamed Abdallah was welcomed by economic operators in Mitty, a sub-prefecture located about twenty kilometers from the city of Dalaba. Before continuing, the president of the organized group of businessmen (GOHA International) visited the vast agricultural fields of the N’Galou Dalaba agricultural group in the presence of the president of the special delegation of Mitty, Mr. Thierno Amadou Barry.
Very satisfied, Mr Barry thanked the boss of GOHA International for this visit to his locality.
Speaking, the president of the organized group of businessmen asks other economic operators to follow in the footsteps of the members of N’Galou Dalaba for food self-sufficiency.
After this guided tour in Mitty, the procession headed to the city center of Dalaba for the establishment of the section of the organized group of businessmen (GOHA International) and the local branch of the action to unite Guineans. This ceremony, which was held at the youth center of Dalaba, saw a strong mobilization of economic operators, elders, women, young people and local authorities.
In his speech, Mamadou Saidou Diallo, coordinator of GOHA International in Dalaba, returned to the main concerns of economic operators in this prefecture of middle Guinea.
“We are facing two major problems: a lack of banks and insecurity. Personally, I have been the victim of armed attacks in my shop almost seven times. There is no bank in Dalaba. To deposit or collect money, we are forced to go to Pita or Mamou. It is very difficult to move around with large amounts. We invite you to help us find solutions to these two problems,” he said.
In his speech, Chérif Mohamed Abdallah Haidara invited everyone to work towards peace, unity and the development of Dalaba in particular and Guinea in general.
“I urge you to unite everyone to achieve our goals. We cannot succeed if we are not united, we cannot succeed if there is no peace, there can be no development without peace and unity. I have heard your grievances, particularly regarding the establishment of a bank and insurance companies in your locality. A solution will be found shortly. Regarding insecurity, we will address the appropriate authorities,” he promised.
After the establishment of the local branch of APUG and the GOHA International section, Chérif Mohamed Abdallah Haidara and the local leaders of these two organizations were received by El hadj Mamadou Chérif Barry, Grand Imam of the city in the presence of several leaders of the prefectural Islamic league. The religious leaders welcomed this initiative to establish a branch of APUG. Prayers were said for peace, unity and development in Dalaba in particular and in the country in general. “This is a good thing. We will support anyone who comes with a project to unite and reconcile Guineans,” said the Grand Imam.
