Chernyshenko named the main topics of the investment forum in Sochi

The main attention in the program of the Russian Investment Forum (RIF), which will be held in Sochi on February 17-19, the organizers will pay to the implementation of national projects and building up the economic potential of the regions. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the organizing committee of the forum Dmitry Chernyshenko during a meeting on the preparation and holding of the forum.

According to Chernyshenko, out of 209 proposals for inclusion in the agenda of the forum, the organizing committee chose 45 sessions on five national goals. The collection of proposals from regional and federal authorities continues.

Within three days, representatives of federal authorities, regions and business will discuss issues on the way to achieve the national goals set by the president, Chernyshenko said. According to him, the best practices and projects, including those selected within the framework of the new institute of supervising by vice-prime ministers, will be presented by subjects at the stands and during plenary sessions.

“They are aimed at increasing investment attractiveness, creating new jobs, increasing incomes of the population and, as a result, at the socio-economic development of the territories in general. Our common task is to work out within the framework of the forum the most effective solutions to support the development of regions and find tools to ensure the growth of the level and quality of life of citizens throughout Russia, ”the press service of the government quoted Chernyshenko as saying.

56 regions have already confirmed their participation in the RIF at the site of the federal territory “Sirius”. Applications were also submitted by “several dozen” Russian companies and corporations, including Sberbank, Gazprom, Uralchem, VTB and VEB.RF. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also plans to attend the forum.

During the launch day, the Healthy Life Forum will take place, added President Advisor Anton Kobyakov. The architecture of the business program will be published on the official website of the forum on December 13.

At the end of November, Chernyshenko called on the heads of regions and heads of federal executive bodies to actively participate in preparations for the Russian Investment Forum. The key topic of the forum program and the topic of the plenary session were named “Achieving national goals as a response to global challenges” and “Russia 2030: achieving national goals for breakthrough socio-economic development”.
