For the second time in a few months, chessboxing is taking place at Cabaret Sauvage in Paris. An evening which will announce the release of a film tracing the history of sport next March on Canal+.

Chessboxing returns this Friday in Paris. A third IFC organized in four years, the second in four months. During this Intellectual Fight Club, organized at the Cabaret Sauvage in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, four fights are planned, interspersed with a show at halftime. After sport, it’s time to party until the end of the night on the banks of the Bassin de la Villette.

Chessboxing is the subject of a documentary, soon to be released. For several years, the teams of Canal+ followed Guillaume Salançon and his men, from the birth of sport to the world championships in Turkey in 2019. This film, approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, will be broadcast on March 11 on Canal+, after the boxing match between Tony Yoka and Carlos Takam.
