Chhatra Dal protested the attack on ordinary students who were agitating for the abolition of quota in government jobs.

On Tuesday (July 16), the protest procession took out from under the BNP central office in Nayapaltan of the capital, turned around Nightingale and passed in front of Paltan China Tower and came to Nayapaltan again.

After the rally, Chhatra Dal leaders said that Chhatra League attacked anti-quota patriotic and talented students in educational institutions across the country on Monday. Various pictures and videos of the attack and the attackers have already been circulated in the media. Besides, people all over the country have become aware of this with the help of social media.

The Chhatra Dal leaders claimed that the Chhatra League has carried out violence against ordinary students in various halls of Dhaka University, including Mall Chattar, VC Chattar and various places adjacent to the university.

They said that none of the boys and girls were spared from this attack by the Chhatra League. Especially our student sisters have been brutally attacked. At least more than a thousand students were injured in these attacks across the country.

Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam said that the Chhatra Dal has expressed solidarity with the protesting ordinary students and promises to fight from the ground for the abolition of quota system from today.
