jpnn.com – Indonesian men’s singles Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo was defeated in the first round of the 2024 Korea Open.
The Jayapura-born badminton player was forced to acknowledge the superiority of Hong Kong representative Jason Gunawan.
Competing at the Mokpo Indoor Stadium, Wednesday (28/8/2024), Chico lost two straight games with a score of 17-21, 15-21.
This was Chico’s second defeat when he met the Indonesian badminton player.
Previously, Chico lost to Jason in the last 16 of the 2024 Malaysia Masters through a match rubber game 6-21, 21-16, 10-21.
