This condolence was expressed in a statement signed by the press secretary of the Chief Adviser on Tuesday (September 24).

In a condolence message, the chief adviser said, “My sincere condolences to the family members of Lt. Nirjan.” At the same time, I express my condolences to all the colleagues of the Bangladesh Army.

This young and talented officer of the Bangladesh Army, who is the guardian of the peace, order and sovereignty of Bangladesh, has sacrificed his life to protect the life and property of the people. The nation will forever remember his sacrifice as an example of the ideal of patriotism. The incident of Nirjan’s death has taken place at a time when the Bangladesh Army is working day and night across the country to ensure the safety of people under the ‘In Aid to Civil Power’.

Noting that his untimely death in the attack of miscreants is an irreparable loss not only for the army but also for the country, the condolence message also said that this great self-sacrifice of Lt. Tanzim Charwar for the sake of the beloved motherland will be a source of motivation for our determination to build a happy and prosperous future Bangladesh.
