Chief Engineer Road Works Survey

Road widening work is going on under Industrial Roads Project from Melwar-Chennai to Kanyakumari. Chief Engineer of Highway Department Selvan inspected the expansion works of 30 km from Melwar to Tirupattur at a cost of Rs.118 crore. Supervising Engineer Selvanathan and Divisional Engineer Jayaprakash were present. The Chief Engineer inaugurated the work of planting 9 thousand 500 saplings for a distance of 30 km. He advised to complete the road works as soon as possible.
