Chennai: Chief Minister MK Stalin will return to Chennai this morning after concluding his five-day state visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Ministers and volunteers gather at the Chennai airport to give an enthusiastic welcome to the Chief Minister. During his visit to Dubai, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with various companies for about Rs 10,500 crore in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin. He was accompanied by senior officials of the Tamil Nadu government, including Industry Minister Thangam Tennarasu. At the Dubai International Finance Center, he met with UAE Economic Affairs Minister Abdullah Bintuk Almari and UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Alkiyoti to discuss investments in Tamil Nadu. Later, Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the halls set up on behalf of Tamil Nadu at the International Expo in Dubai. After the event he met with UAE investors in Dubai. He then asked for more investments in Tamil Nadu.
Dubai-based Noble Stills, Aster TM Healthcare and Sharaf Group are among the first to enter into business in Tamil Nadu and have signed a memorandum of understanding to attract investments of around ₹ 7,000 crore. Chief Minister MK Stalin’s visit was better than expected and attracted more investments. He held consultations with business investors in Abu Dhabi yesterday morning. Then, he called to start a business in Tamil Nadu. He said that there is a good environment to start a business in Tamil Nadu and various incentives are being offered on behalf of the government. At the event, Lulu signed a memorandum of understanding in the presence of MK Stalin to carry out 3 projects in Tamil Nadu with an investment of ₹ 3,500 and employment for 5,000 people.
Following this, the Government of Tamil Nadu, on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu, set up a ‘Diaspora Tamil Welfare Board’ to look after the welfare of Tamils living abroad, and the Indian Community and Cultural Center – Abu Dhabi Living Tamil Community would like to thank Chief Minister MK Stalin for providing the necessary funding.
