Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Faisalabad Commissioner Office where a meeting was held under her chairmanship. In the meeting, the Chief Minister was given a detailed briefing on health, education, road construction and repair, infrastructure and municipal services. A safari park will be built. He said that metro bus service will also be started in Faisalabad from next year, which will provide modern and affordable travel facilities to the citizens. He directed the concerned authorities to take immediate steps regarding the establishment of Safari Park.
The Chief Minister said that full control should be kept on the prices of bread, flour and other food items and officers need to go and work in the field to monitor them. While giving instructions regarding the upgradation of Faisalabad Sheikhupura Road, he said that public welfare projects should be completed soon so that better facilities can be provided to the citizens.
It was informed in the meeting that cleaning has been completed in more than 30 percent of the Union Councils of Faisalabad and the Safe City project in the city will be completed by next June. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was also given a detailed briefing on the Faisalabad Ring Road and other development projects. The progress regarding the construction of parks and playgrounds on the land handed over from the occupation mafia was also informed.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed to further improve health facilities and said that basic health centers across Punjab are being revamped to international standards and necessary machinery is also being provided to them. He further said that patrolling and combing operations should be expedited to eliminate criminal elements and strict action should be taken against drug dealers.
On the other hand, the members of assembly and other leaders present in the meeting thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for these steps taken for Faisalabad.
