Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The head of the Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, announced, on Sunday, the organization of red flags against wanted persons, including the Minister of Finance of the previous government, the private secretary of the former prime minister and the former head of the intelligence service, and while he indicated that all those wanted in the theft of the century are no less than the acquisition of one of them About 100 billion dinars, he confirmed that one of the wanted persons from Saudi Arabia will soon be recovered.
Hanoun said in a press conference, “The prime minister is keen for the citizen to have a role in fighting corruption,” noting that “the issue of theft of tax secretariats, the issue of major corruption mixed with treason.”
He explained, “The stay of those involved in the theft of tax secretariats outside the bars will not continue,” pointing to “the organization of red flags for the wanted, who are the former head of the intelligence service, the minister of finance of the previous government, the private secretary of the former prime minister, as well as the former political advisor to the former prime minister.”
And he pointed out, “Efforts are continuing to recover the wanted persons from the Emirates, who are Hamdiya Al-Jaf, Nawras Abdul-Razzaq and Muhammad Hadi,” praising “the great cooperation of Judge Diaa Jaafar for his great cooperation in the anti-corruption campaign.”
He added, “All those wanted in the theft of the century are not less than 100 billion dinars,” stressing, “Work to recover the wanted from Jordan and Turkey, in addition to recovering one of the wanted from Saudi Arabia, will take place during the next two months.”
He continued, “It is a crime for a thief to be assigned a public job, and we are trying to pressure some countries to extradite those accused of corruption,” calling on “the United States, Britain and the UAE to hand over the fugitive suspects.”
