In the document, the FFCh reports that “during the first two matches played in the Copa América by the Chilean National Team, there were a series of questionable refereeing decisions, which directly harmed the participation of our team and its continuity in said championship. In the match against the Peruvian national team, Mr. Wilton Sampaio, the referee of the match, was extremely permissive with the opposing team, thus allowing a series of obvious fouls to go unpunished.
“Meanwhile, in the match against the Argentine national team, the goal of the opposing team occurred when one of the players involved in the play was clearly offside. There was also a clear penalty not called by referee Andrés Matonte in favor of the Chilean National Team, which was also not noticed or reported by the VAR.“, the Federation detailed.

Also, and as a result of the aforementioned events, the FFCh requested the suspension of the referee from Conmebol, which was rejected,” he accused.
In this line, the Chilean Football Federation “requests that referee Mr. Wilmar Roldán be sanctioned with an indefinite and definitive suspension, and/or, failing that, with the maximum sanction applicable to such disastrous conduct as those indicated, due to the glaring errors he committed. in the match played today between the Chilean and Canadian national teams, and which correspond to Mr. Roldán’s recurring conduct in those matches in which he referees the Chilean national team, demonstrating his absolute lack of impartiality.”
