China and Russia want to strengthen their cooperation. China is an important partner of Russia. Putin said he accepted Xi Jinping’s invitation to come to China in October for the Silk Road summit, the Russian news agency TASS reported.
In the Ukraine war, the People’s Republic officially presents itself as neutral, but supports the neighboring country. Addressing the UN Security Council on Wednesday, China’s Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu emphasized that China wanted to play a “constructive role in a political settlement of the Ukraine crisis.”
