Beijing: A Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force J-7 plane crashed in a populated area, killing a local. The crash happened in Xiangang, Hubei Province, during a training flight yesterday morning. The ensuing fire damaged several homes. Two people were injured. The pilot escaped with minor injuries as the parachute was used just before the crash.
