Chinese scientists ready to use high-energy electron beam irradiation technology to convert sludge into fuel

According to the representative of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this institute has developed a technology for irradiation with high-energy electron beams, designed to neutralize sludge. Thus, there is hope that a large amount of sludge generated during the operation of the treatment plant can be converted into secondary fuel.
